Beulah Baptist Church Beulah Baptist Church was constituted in 1791. The existing strucure is the second church building built on this site (the first was built from logs). The Reverend Genie Hargrove was called to serve as pastor when her father, Billy Hargrove, retired after 30 years of service. Some of the early church members were slaves and some were free people of color. The church has carried on that tradition of inclusion and welcomed Joe & Doug for this service. As thanks we ask that you consider a contribution. The church has no running water and is raising money to add plumbing and a bathroom. |
